Ashley (she/her) is a first-generation, Latina transfer student from San Pablo, CA. She is currently studying Data Science with an emphasis in Business Analytics at the University of California, Berkeley. At the moment, she is working as a student data researcher for the Urban Displacement Project on the Eviction Research Network team. She works with research and completes State data analysis alongside Senior Data Scientists on the team. Additionally, she is an active member of the Latinx Business Student Association and she also manages the NAVCAL Linkedin page where she shoutouts all of the NAVCAL fellows' and interns' wins (Please reach out to Ashley if you want a repost on our page :) ). In Post-grad, she aspires to become a Data Scientist in the media industry. She is passionate about seeing more women of color in technical fields within the STEM workforce and takes pride in her own non-traditional identities as she navigates the industry.
