Bio/CV:
Marlenne Perez is a first-generation student leader and advocate dedicated to expanding educational equity for marginalized communities. She's been part of NAVCAL since Summer 2022, a semester before she arrived at UC Berkeley, and has been part of the community since. As a facilitator, she supports our semester cohorts in leading the students with mindful conversations and working through weekly topics. Rooted in her lived experience and commitment to social justice, Marlenne focuses on building community-centered spaces, uplifting underrepresented voices, and helping students and families feel seen, informed, and empowered. She is passionate about transforming systems through mentorship and culturally responsive support.
